Desiigner was nineteen when "Panda" went to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2016, after Kanye West sampled it on The Life of Pablo and signed him to GOOD Music. The song has since passed 1.3 billion streams.
His follow-up, "Tiimmy Turner", grew out of a freestyle and reached number forty-eight on the Hot 100. It sits near 434 million streams today, which is a large number in absolute terms even though it lives in the shadow of "Panda".
That produces a ratio of almost exactly 3, under our 5.0 threshold. His biggest song does three times the work of his second, which is lopsided without being decisive by our measure.
So by our count Desiigner is not a one-hit wonder, though he sits closer to the line than the artists we usually field this question about. He left GOOD Music in 2019 and has released independently since, without returning to the charts. The gap between public perception and the number here is mostly about "Tiimmy Turner" being a song many people have streamed but few would name.
